Star Wars fans, your ship has come in. Literally.

Disney today announced that Star Wars characters will appear on its cruise ships for the first time in 2016 as part of eight special Star Wars-themed Caribbean sailings.

Taking place on the 2,500-passenger Disney Fantasy, the seven-night Star Wars Day at Sea voyages will feature a full day of Star Wars celebrations that include a deck party, meet-and-greets with characters, Star Wars-themed youth activities, unique food and beverage offerings, and special merchandise.

Also on tap will be exclusive at-sea screenings of the Star Wars films and the new Disney XD animated series, Star Wars Rebels.

During the voyage the ship also will offer a Jedi Training Academy experience where youngsters can learn lightsaber moves. Passengers also will be encouraged to dress up in Star Wars costumes.

The sailings are scheduled for Jan. 9 and 23; Feb. 6 and 20; March 5 and 19; and April 2 and 16, 2016. Departing from Port Canaveral, Fla., they’ll feature calls at Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.
