Breaking: Tequila Makes You Lose Weight?

You’re not going to believe this, but according to a new study, drinking TEQUILA helps you lose weight. And not just because it makes you vomit out the contents of your stomach.

Tequila is made from an agave plant. And researchers found that some of the natural sugars in that plant do GREAT things for you.

They lower your blood sugar . . . they help make you feel fuller . . . and they help healthy bacteria grow in your mouth and intestines.

Now . . . this doesn’t really mean that if you want to lose weight, you can eat whatever you want as long as you finish it off with five tequila shots.

The researchers just say that if you ARE out drinking and you want to order something that won’t derail your weight loss progress, tequila might just be the best option.

A 19-year-old kid in Michigan recently bought a $10 lottery ticket at a gas station near Lansing . . . and hit the jackpot for HALF-A-MILLION BUCKS.

And believe it or not, he DOESN’T want to blow it all on limos and jet skis.

Instead, he’s planning to invest about $5,000 of it . . . and says he’s giving the rest of the money to his PARENTS.

He wants to remain anonymous, so his name hasn’t been released. But he says the money will take a huge weight off their shoulders. And they deserve it for everything they’ve done for him growing up.

A Nine-Year-Old Is Upset When Santa Tells Him to “Lay Off the Hamburgers and French Fries”

Children today are larger than children used to be. It’s fine, food is delicious, and based on adult weight trends we’re obviously in NO position to judge. But you have to imagine it wreaks havoc on Santa’s lap this time of year.

And he finally snapped. Metaphorically. I don’t mean his leg bones literally snapped under the weight of an American child.

A nine-year-old kid named Anthony Mayse went to sit on Santa’s lap in Forest City, North Carolina last weekend, and asked him for an iPod Touch and a drone.

But at the end of their conversation, Santa told Anthony, quote, “Lay off the hamburgers and French fries.”

Anthony was really upset and started crying, and now his mom wants the city to fire Santa.

The town manager says Santa has apologized, but for now, he’s keeping his job.

Whenever you hear about someone losing a ton of weight by eating fast food, people always compare them to Jared from Subway. It’s safe to say we will NEVER make those comparisons again. Do NOT be like Jared from Subway.

There’s a 25-year-old guy in Denver, Colorado named Alton Ward who lost 140 pounds in one year, just by eating Chick-fil-A.

He says when he was at Texas A&M University four years ago, he was 355 pounds. He says he tried Jenny Craig, Atkins, no carbs, juice diets, and every other thing . . . but none of it worked.

But there was a Chick-fil-A on campus, and he liked their food. So he started working out, and he’d eat Chick-fil-A once or twice a day.

He’d go for their healthier stuff, like grilled chicken wraps and sandwiches, soup, and salads . . . and over the course of the year, he dropped 140 POUNDS.

Now it’s four years later, and Alton says he’s kept the weight off. He still eats at Chick-fil-A because, quote, “I was on my way to a heart attack or just having a stroke or diabetes . . . it’s literally helped me change my life.”

Any diet that encourages me to eat more waffles sounds good in my book.

A new study out of Yale found that a key to losing weight could be eating TWO breakfasts every day: A small one early, then a bigger one a little later.

They say having two breakfasts kick starts your metabolism . . . it stops you from binging on food later in the day . . . it stops you from eating snacks in the morning . . . and it actually helps you lose weight in the long run.
