44-year-old Frederic Desnard was a manager at a perfume company in Paris, France. He worked there from 2010, until he was laid off in 2014.
But he’s not mad about the getting-laid-off part. He just says the company didn’t give him anything to do. So when he worked there, he was bored out of his mind . . . literally.
He says it caused a, quote, “descent to hell” that left him seriously depressed. And that the total lack of stimulation at work caused him to have an epileptic FIT while he was driving.
So now he’s SUING the company . . . for $415,000. Because he was bored. But the company’s lawyers say he never mentioned being bored when he was still WORKING there.
All we can say is . . . if it becomes legal for people to sue because their jobs are BORING, the courts are going to get REALLY busy.
Frederic Desnard was bored
When you hear this, you might think it’s one of those classic, frivolous lawsuits by some moron. But just wait . . . by the end you’ll TOTALLY be on this woman’s side.
Stacey Pincus of Chicago, Illinois just filed a class action lawsuit against Starbucks . . . because they put too much ICE in their iced coffee.
Sounds dumb, right? Just hear her out. She points out that Starbucks advertises their drinks by how many ounces they have: 12 ounces in a tall, 16 in a grande, 24 in a venti, and 30 in a trenta.
And that’s how much coffee you get . . . if you order it HOT. But if you order it iced, you get a cup full of ice, which cuts into the amount of coffee. So in a venti, you only get 14 ounces of coffee with 10 ounces of ice. Instead of 24 ounces of coffee.
Her lawsuit says, quote, “[You] get just over half of the advertised amount, and just over half of the amount for which you are paying.” She also found that makes iced drinks the most profitable items on the menu.
So she wants $5 million for all the people who’ve been ripped off in the past 10 years. The suit is also demanding that Starbucks serve iced drinks in bigger cups so you get the full amount of coffee you order.

36-year-old Jennifer Cramblett of Uniontown, Ohio went to a sperm bank in Downers Grove, Illinois back in 2011. And she’s white, so she picked a white guy as the donor.
But when she gave birth in August of 2012, she had a baby girl that was MIXED RACE. Turns out the sperm bank had mislabeled the donor and he was actually a black guy.
So now Jennifer is SUING them. The suit says she and her lesbian partner Amanda love their daughter, but raising her has been stressful . . . because they live in an all-white town.
The suit says Jennifer grew up stereotyping non-white people, didn’t meet any black people until college, and says she has, quote, “limited cultural competency relative to African Americans.”
Jennifer also says her family has already had ENOUGH trouble embracing her homosexuality, so she doubts they’ll embrace her daughter.
She’s suing for wrongful birth and breach of warranty.
