Iggy Azalea at Number One and Two on “Billboard” Hot 100

Iggy AzaleaIggy Azalea has the right to celebrate this week. Not only does the Australian rapper hold the top spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with her single “Fancy,” featuring Charli XCX, but she’s also at number two with “Problem,” her collaboration with Ariana Grande. That makes Iggy the only artist other than the Beatles to simultaneously have a number one and two song with their first two Hot 100 hits. (The Beatles did it in 1964 with “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and “She Loves You.”) Azalea is also just the third woman ever to have concurrent songs in the two top spots (Mariah Carey and Ashanti are the others).

As for the rest of the chart, John Legend’s former number one, “All of Me,” slipped to number three, followed by Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” at four and DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What” at five.

Rounding out the Top Ten are: Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse,” Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty,” Nico & Vinz’s “I Am Wrong,” Justin Timberlake’s “Not A Bad Thing,” and Jason Derulo’s “Wiggle.”
