This is like the plot of a movie you’d go see on Valentine’s Day . . .
There’s a 20-year-old woman in England named Jessica Sharman who had a bunch of seizures last March that somehow gave her AMNESIA. So she couldn’t remember anything, including her parents.
She’d been dating a guy named Rich Bishop for about seven months, but didn’t even want to see him. She says he was like a total stranger, who kept looking at her like they were in love. So it was too weird, and she decided to break up with him.
He convinced her to give him a chance though. They went on a bunch of dates, and he took her to all their favorite restaurants again to see if it would jog her memory.
Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. But what did happen was she fell in LOVE again.
She says Rich was so patient and nice to her that it was hard NOT to fall for him. Her doctors still don’t know if she’ll ever get her memory back. And there’s a chance she’ll have another seizure and get amnesia all over again.
But even if that happens, she thinks they’ll end up together now. Quote, “[He] was able to make me fall in love with him twice. So I know he could do it again.”
It’s April Fools’ Day! And if you want to pull a prank at your office today, there’s still time. Here are five April Fools’ office pranks that require little or no preparation.
Cover their stuff in sticky notes. Get a few coworkers together and cover someone’s cubicle with Post-It Notes. Or, if you don’t have time before they get to work, sneak out to the parking lot and do it to their CAR.
Rubber band their office phone. Get a few rubber bands and wrap them around their office phone so they can’t pick it up when it rings.
Hang a sign on the “new” voice-activated copier. Chances are, people have seen this one before and won’t fall for it. But if they do, the results are totally worth it.
Kill their mouse. Unplug their mouse from the back of their computer or take the batteries out. Then once you’ve had a good laugh, let them in on it so they can actually, you know, WORK.
Mayonnaise the doughnuts. We don’t endorse the “messing with food” type of April Fools’ Day prank, but if you’re a heartless jerk, this one’s for you. Buy a dozen regular, glazed doughnuts and spread some mayo on the top as frosting. Then offer one to a victim of your choice, or leave the box in the breakroom.
Starbucks Has a New Drink That’s Supposed to Taste Like Cereal Milk
Starbucks is selling the Pumpkin Spice Latte again, but they hadn’t introduced a NEW drink for fall in four years. Finally, our national nightmare is over.
Yesterday, they started selling the Toasted Graham Latte. It’s made with espresso, steamed milk, sweet cream, and graham cracker flavoring, with cinnamon and crumbled graham crackers on top.
Their manager of research and development came up with it, and she says it’s supposed to taste like the milk in the bottom of your CEREAL bowl. At least, that’s what inspired it.
Quote, “I thought about the back-to-school season and looked at the latest food and beverage trends. [And] what I found to be quite popular in the U.S. is the taste of cereal milk, the delicious leftovers in your breakfast bowl.”
You can get it at any Starbucks, quote, “until supplies run out.” Whatever that means.
Armin van Buuren feat. Mr. Probz – Another You (Official Music Video)
The world’s biggest DJ and Grammy nominated producer has joined forces with multiplatinum singer-songwriter, rapper and producer Mr. Probz to create ‘Another You’, the first single from Armin’s forthcoming full-length studio album, to be released this fall.
Armin and Mr. Probz met last year and instantly hit it off, ensuring an outstanding collaboration and delivering a stunning record to honour their brand new joint effort.
‘Another You’ instantly grabs the listener with the first strummed chords until Mr. Probz’s irresistible vocal enters with its uniquely gravelly timbre.
Armin worked the song’s hooks and impeccably timed builds and drops to leave the listener no choice other than to throw both hands firmly in the air.
A guy in Portland, Oregon named Ted Nelson looked out his window on Monday, and saw a dog had slipped through a railing on a 14th floor balcony across the street. (We don’t know how old Ted is, but he looks like he’s in his 30’s.)
The dog was a five-year-old Bichon Frise named Mordy. (It’s pronounced ‘bee-szhawn free-zay.) And as soon as Ted saw him on the edge of the balcony, he ran across the street to yell up to the owners.
But while he was standing there, Mordy lost his balance . . . fell 14 stories . . . and Ted CAUGHT him. Bichons aren’t big dogs . . . they usually weigh about ten pounds. But that’s not tiny either.
Ted says Mordy hit him in the chest, so he tried to grab him with his arms. But he slipped through and landed on the ground. Still, that slowed him down enough, and he survived.
Ted and his girlfriend rushed him to a vet, but Mordy only ended up with a few bumps and bruises. His owners say they’re extremely thankful Ted did what he did. Apparently they had no idea the railing was big enough for him to fit through.
Ted’s okay too, and he’s actually done something like this before. He saw a cat about to fall off a balcony in the same building last year. But that time the owners heard him yelling and grabbed it before it fell.
