It’s not quite time for company holiday parties yet, but it IS time to start praying your embarrassing boss does something like THIS when the day arrives.
A new survey asked people to share the most EMBARRASSING thing they’ve ever seen their boss do at a company party. Here are eight of the best ones . . .
- Turning a dance contest into a brawl.
- Trying to break dance and breaking an ankle.
- Passing out under a table.
- Standing behind the bar trying to drink out of an empty bottle of wine.
- Taking inappropriate pictures in a photo booth.
- Gossiping about the employees.
- Accidentally falling into a swimming pool.
- Publicly quitting the company during their toast.
The way things are in the world right now, it might not be such a good idea to make a music video that looks like it’s set in a city that just got BOMBED. Especially if it’s gonna be a BOOTY-SHAKING video.
But that’s kind of what FIFTH HARMONY did with their video for “That’s My Girl”. It takes place in a city where SOMETHING just happened. They don’t tell us WHAT, but it could easily be a war-torn area like Aleppo. (Or, as Gary Johnson calls it . . . What?!)
The ladies show up to help, but they also DANCE. In fact, they mostly dance. If they were going for some kind of fantastical, Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic thing, they failed. There’s nothing here to indicate it’s not 2016.
The clothing, the bombed out cars, the ruined city . . . they’re all very much of the present. The girls even have a not-remotely-futuristic Jeep.
It’s just weird . . . and an odd choice, given that there are a lot of cities in the world that look like this right now.
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum, husband and wife dance duo extraordinaire, duke it out in the Season 2 premiere of Lip Sync Battle!
Jenna reimagines Channing’s Magic Mike XXL routine to Ginuwine’s “Pony” while Channing brings in some extra firepower for his version of Beyonce’s “Run The World (Girls)”!
Awesomeness! Who do you think won?
Yes, I dance in my car.
Yes, I see you staring at me.
No, I don’t care.
Someone in England posted two photos on Twitter last month of an overweight guy dancing at a club. The caption said, “Spotted this specimen trying to dance . . . he stopped when he saw us laughing.”
It turns out the guy’s name is Sean, and he’s from London. In the first photo he’s dancing, and in the second he’s just staring at the floor looking sad. (We’re not sure about his age, but he looks like he’s in his early 30’s.)
But shaming him online totally backfired: Cassandra Fairbanks and Hope Leigh are part of a women’s group in L.A. that throws events, and the photos made them angry . . . so they decided to do something about it.
They offered to fly Sean to L.A. for a dance party with their 1,700 members. A company called Discover L.A. is going to cover his travel expenses . . . the L.A. Coliseum is going to host it for free . . . and Pharrell, Moby, and Andrew W.K. have all offered to perform.
Someone started a GoFundMe page too. And as of last night they’d raised over $35,000. Any money left over goes to an anti-bullying campaign.
