Oreo’s path to total junk food domination just took another big step forward. And I, for one, welcome our insane cookies-and-cream overlords.
Oreo just introduced their first CANDY BAR. It’s a gigantic milk chocolate bar that’s stuffed with layers of cream and Oreo cookies. And the chocolate is fancy, expensive European chocolate.
It’s starting to roll out to stores now and should be everywhere by January. And a smaller version will also be coming out then, in case you’re into moderation.
This might be the least romantic way to meet someone. But hey, whatever works . . .
There’s a 51-year-old truck driver in England named Mark Ellis. And about ten years ago, he was on his way to a bar when he stopped to use a public bathroom. It was some time around 2005, but it’s not really clear.
(CAREFUL!) Anyway, someone had written a phone number on the wall, with a message that said, “If you want a good SHAG, call Donna.” And he actually TRIED the number.
He sent a text that said, “What are you up to?” He didn’t think anyone would actually respond . . . he just did it as a joke. But someone texted BACK and said, “Who is this?” And it really WAS a woman named Donna.
Her name is Donna Roberts, and she looks like she’s in her thirties now. It turns out an ex-boyfriend had written her number on the wall to mess with her.
But it backfired, because she and Mark hit it OFF. They started dating, fell in love, and they now have two kids together . . . a nine-year-old and an eight-year-old.
A newspaper in England just did a story on them, so that’s why we’re hearing about it. Donna says their kids are still too young for the REAL story of how they met. So for now they think Mark just texted her by mistake.
Margaritas Are Now the Most Popular Drink in America
According to a new survey, the most popular cocktail in America is now . . . the MARGARITA.
It’s true. Here are the five most popular cocktails in the country . . .
- Margarita . . . 60% of people have ordered one at a bar or restaurant in the past three months.
- Daiquiri, 44%.
- Pina colada, 36%.
- Long Island iced tea, 33%.
- Mojito, 29%.
The survey also found that one out of four Americans have ordered a cocktail at a bar or restaurant in the past few months, and paid an average of $8.72 for one.
As if Baltimore police don’t have enough to do, they now have to investigate one of their own for allegedly biting another man over a woman. Michael Flaig, a cop in Anne Arudel County, near Baltimore, was arrested on Cinco de Mayo after a man says he bit him in an alleyway behind a bar. The man says he told Flaig, who was off duty at the time, to stop touching his female roommate inappropriately.
According to the police report, Flaig ran up behind the man and tried to punch. He then pulled the man to the ground and during the fight the man straddled Flaig and that’s when he says he was bitten.
Flaig, a 10-year veteran on the force, is now facing assault charges and has been placed on “paid administrative duties.”

This could help the next time you need to talk to your boss . . . or you’re nervous about going up to someone at a bar. When you’re walking up to two people in the middle of a conversation, here’s a trick to figure out if it’s okay to interrupt.
Look at which way their FEET are pointing.
According to a body language expert, if they see you and turn their entire body so their feet are pointed at YOU, it means the conversation probably isn’t that important. And it’s okay to join in.
But if they only turn their head or upper body . . . with their feet still pointed at each OTHER . . . it means they’re fully engaged in the conversation, and it’s probably about something important.
So in that case, it’s best to keep walking and talk to them later.
